OVERVIEW:

Red Lotus Travel is honored to introduce to travellers our Cai Be floating market and Tan Phong Island one day tour. This trip will bring you to the Cai Be floating market and Tan Phong island. Located along Tien river. Tan Phong has a good position in economic development as well as cultivating gardens and fishing san. Tan Phong has become a "destination" of eco-tours.

ITINERARY:

After breakfast at your hotel. Our driver will pick you at your hotel lobby and transfer to Cai Be. On the way, our tour guide will introduce to you  the specific cultures of Mekong river residents.

You will take a rest at Mekong rest stop where you can see all of the landscapes of the Southern Vietnam in its garden. It is really an impressive place for you, continue your trip to Cai Be.

Upon arrival at Cai Be town, you will cycle to Cai Be market and walk around to see our daily life. Then, cross the Mekong river by a public ferry and visit Tan Phong island by bicycle. You will visit families and workshops making traditional products: rice paper, hammock made of banana stem, water palm leave panel for house roofing, water hyacinth handicrafts. At the end of the trip, have a rest and listen to the traditional music before lunch in a fruit orchard on Tan Phong island. Take the ferry back to Cai Be and return to Saigon with your car.
