HANOI - HAGIANG - DONGVAN - MEOVAC - SAPA - DIENBIEN PHU - SONLA - MAICHAU - NINHBINH - HALONG - HANOI 16 DAYS 15 NIGHTS

DAY1 : HANOI ARRIVAL (NO MEAL)

Our driver and guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to check in your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2 : HANOI - HAGIANG (B, L, D) - 300 km (Over 6 hour driving)

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Hagiang city. It is about nearly 300 km. You will have lunch on the way. The road is really pretty, especially, when you get close to Hagiang. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon, check in and stay overnight in Hagiang.

DAY 3 : HAGIANG - PHOBANG VILLAGE - DONG VAN (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will start your trip to Dongvan district where is famous for  beautiful Karst Plateau. On the way to Dongvan you will have chances to visit many nice places to take photos and walk to enjoy great nature here such as: Quan Ba twin mountains and the Heaven Gate which is  the most ideal place to have a glimpse of the Dong Van plateau.

We drive to Yenminh town for lunch, then you will to visit Phobang village, a small village lies in a peaceful valley and visit to H’Mong’s King Palace, Vuong Chi Sinh and Vuong Chinh Duc, the tyrant of Opium in the past. You will have great time to visit Dongvan Karst Plateau & Global Geopark along our stunning driving. Upon arrival Dongvan town, check in and overnight at hotel in Dongvan town.

DAY 4 : DONGVAN - MAPILENG - MEOVAC - YENMINH - HAGIANG (B, L, D)

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Meovac town, stop on the way for taking amazing photos of Ma Pi Leng pass, this is the most stunning pass in Vietnam that attracts many foreign  tourists, a highlight of our tour. From your road, you can look thousand and thousand meters down to huge valley with a river flowing around, Nhoque river. It is just like a band of silk to emphasis more the beauty of this region. You will have chance to take a great boat trip on Nhoque river too, it is wonderful time for you to enjoy mavelous scenery here.

Continue driving to Meovac town, a litter town in the most remote area of Vietnam. You will have a chance to visit minority market if you come here on Sunday. Then, drive back on different way. You will have lunch at local restaurant in Yenminh town. Then, transfer to Hagiang city. Check in your hotel and overnight at hotel in Hagiang.

DAY 5 : HAGIANG - SAPA (B, L, D) - 245 km (Over 7 hours driving)

Another driving day to Sapa town. It is about nearly 250 km. You will enjoy a beautiful scenery on the way to Sapa. Arrival Sapa in the late afternoon, you will check in your hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Sapa

DAY 6 : SAPA TREKKING TO MATRA + TAPHIN AND CATCAT VILLAGES (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will trek to visit Matra + Taphin village. These village are still a new name to almost everybody. Located about 17km in the west of Sapa, Matra + Ta Phin are village of Red Dao’s people possessing a rich culture that has not been damaged by the modern life.

After that you will have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue your trip you will visit Cat cat village. You just walk down the hill so that you can enjoy wonderful scenery of the whole area.

DAY 7 : LAOCHAI + TAVAN VILLAGE - FREE IN THE AFTERNOON (B, L, D)

In the morning, our guide will take you to many nice places along Muong Hoa valley. You can take hundreds of great photos here. Also, you will walk down the hill to villages of Black H’Mong people, Laochai and Tavan village.

You can see and learn about life of local people here. Sometimes, you will be welcomed by hundreds of local people who are willing and ready to talk with you all along your walking way.

Finish your walking with a nice lunch at a local restaurant at Tavan village.

In the afternoon, our drive will take you back to Sapa town, then you have free time to relax.  Stay overnight in Sapa.

In the afternoon, you have 2 options ( pay by yourself ) to discover Sapa.

• Option 1: You can take a taxi ( 1 USD ) to Fansipan Legend Cable Car (800,000 VND / person) and go up Fansipan peak (3,143m) by your own to conquer the highest mountain in Indochina.

• Option2 : You can walk to Hamrong mountain ( right in Sapa center ) by your own. ( the price for entrance fee ticket: Hamrong :70,000 VND / person )

DAY 8 : SAPA - DIEN BIEN PHU (B, L, D) - 300 km (Over 7 hour driving)

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Dien Bien Phu city. It is about nearly 300 km. You will have a chance to visit O Quy Ho pass with the length of more than 50 km!!! The scenery is stunning here. Really, you can’t imagine how beautiful it is and lunch on the way. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon, check in and stay overnight in Dien Bien Phu.

DAY 9 : DIEN BIEN PHU - SONLA (B, L, D)

Start the day early with a visit to the local market where you will meet charming Thai tribes in their traditional costume purchasing their farm products.

Next, you will visit Dien Bien Phu Museum and A1 hill then continue to Dien Bien Phu Cemetery, victory of the historical Dien Bien Phu Campaign, General De Castries Bunker, Old Muong Thanh Bridge and Nam Rom river. After that, our driver will transfer you to Sonla. You will enjoy the most picturesque scenery here with Pha Din Pass.

Arrive in Sonla in the late afternoon, then you rest, have dinner and stay overnight in Sonla city.

DAY 10 : SONLA - MAICHAU (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Maichau. You will arrive Maichau around 12 p.m, have lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, you will check in homestay.

This afternoon, you can cycle or trek in the off typical tourist tracks, along the villages to meet local people. Go through rice paddies and small streams, discovering the natural beauty of the valley and encountering the culture of the White Thai people living in the region. Have dinner with local foods. Tonight, you will have great experience when stay overnight on house on stilt.

DAY 11 : MAICHAU - NINHBINH - TRANGAN - TAMCOC (B, L, D)

This morning, we will say goodbye to kind-hearted host and drive to NinhBinh, it takes around 4 hours to arrive Ninhbinh, you will have chance to enjoy a nice lunch at our local restaurant with local specialties.

After lunch, we drive to Trangan ecotourism area, the latest UNESCO’s NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE in Vietnam. We take a wonderful boat trip in 2 hours.

After that, we drive to Tamcoc where we start our cycling tour in 2 hours to visit villages, beautiful landscapes of Tamcoc with hundreds of limestone mountains, come to peaceful area to enjoy fantastic scenery. Overnight in Ninhbinh.

DAY 12 : NINHBINH - HALONG (B, L, D)

This morning, we will drive to Halong bay, the UNESCO world natural heritage site, in about 4 hours. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your Junk, spend all the time on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay. Have lunch, dinner and breakfast on boat. Stay overnight on boat.

DAY 13 : HALONG - HANOI (B, L)

In the morning, you will continue your cruising in Halong bay. Have breakfast and relax on this luxury cruise. You will get back harbor and catch our car back Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi and check in your hotel, after that we will have free time to walk in Hanoi Old Quarter and enjoy dinner by your own ( Because your hotel located in the city center, so there are many restaurant around there). Stay overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 14 : HANOI CITY TOUR FULL DAY (B, L)

8:00 am: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and start your trip to visit Hochiminh Complex: Mausoleum, President Palace, Houses of Hochiminh, One Pillar Pagoda.

Also, you will visit to the first National University of Vietnam, Temple of Literature and  learn about how education system worked in the past of Vietnam.

Then, you will visit to Hoa Lo prison - known as the Hanoi Hilton to Westerners in one of its later iterations, was one of the largest prisons built by the French in Indochina.

Have lunch at a local restaurant, in the afternoon you will you will visit to one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi, that is Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 15 : FREE TIME WHOLE DAY (B)

Today, you will have free time for whole day to relax and shopping around Hanoi Old Quarter and enjoy life here. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 16 :  HANOI DEPARTURE - No guide (B)

Enjoy some free time for last purchases or simply relax until our drive will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight home. End of our services!
