FULL DETAIL ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL ( NO MEAL) - No guide

Our guide and driver will warmly welcome you at the airport to bring you to your hotel. Relax after a long flight. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

DAY 2 : FREE DAY TO RELAX (B)

Whole day relaxing after long flight. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

DAY 3 : HANOI - MAICHAU (B, L,D)

7:00 - 8:00 : Pickup at your hotel in the Old Quarter in our comfortable van/bus
10:00 : Short break
11:30-12:30 : Scenic photo stop of Mai Chau valley/arrive in Mai Chau
12:30 : Traditional lunch in our home(vegetarian available)
14:30: Bicycle ride with your tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages.
17:00: Free time for cycling, walking, shopping
19:00 : Enjoy the the dinner, you will have a chance to Enjoy traditional dishes prepared in the style of the native Thai and watch the Thai’s traditional Dance show and drink traditional wine “ruou can”. Overnight in Bungalow in Maichau.

DAY 4: MAICHAU - HANOI (B, L)

07:30 –Breakfast time
08:30 – Go with a local Thai tour guide, we will cycling for 2km before start the trek to visit more remote rural villages: Na Meo, Na Mo and Xam Pa villages to see the rice terraces and understand more about their culture and customs
12:00 – Back to the homestay, check-out and go for lunch
13:00– Free time for shopping and relaxing.
15:30 – Get on the van/bus to drive back to Hanoi.
19:00 – Arrive in Hanoi Old quater. Drop you off at your hotel
19:30 – 20:00 Drop off at the guest’s hotel. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

 

DAY 5 : HANOI - SAPA - CATCAT VILLAGE [B/L/D]

7h00 - 07h30: Limousine pick up at hotel or at the meeting point and then start departure to Sapa, following Noi Bai - Lao Cai high-way.
Along the way, you will have chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains that terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have a short break for 30 minutes then continue the trip to Sapa.
13h00: Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel and have lunch.
Afternoon: Start trekking to Cat Cat village, about 45 minutes walk from Sapa, this is the village of Black H’Mong hill tribe. The village is on the slope of the hill and easy walking, rice and corn are grown here. Cat Cat village possesses many imposing waterfalls and also is home to the water hydropower construction built under French rule.
Dinner in warmly atmosphere of your hotel . Stay overnight in Sapa

DAY 6: Y LINH HO - LAOCHAI - TAVAN - HANOI [B/L]

08:30 – 09:00- After breakfast, check out hotel and we start trekking down to Lao Chai village of Black H’mong ethnic people. Here we will discover their daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft, indigo... We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terrace fields in Vietnam. After Lao Chai, we walk to Ta Van village of Dzay people. It is a small group of ethnic people in Vietnam with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields. 
We will have lunch with the locals in one of the local houses.
14:30- The bus will pick you up from Ta Van village to Sapa Town. Enjoy your free time in Sapa for refreshment.
15h00-15:30  Get ready for the limousine  to return Ha Noi
21:00 – 22:00- Arrive in Ha Noi city. Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 7: HANOI - HALONG (B/L/D)

Our guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to Ha Long bay with a short stop on the way to refresh yourself.  Arrival in Halong Bay after about 4 hour driving, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. A delicious local seafood lunch will be served on board. The Cruise passes by many rocks and islets in any different shapes. We may stop for a while to visit a beautiful cave, if you do not visit this day, you may do in the next day, depending on each boat/junk’s itinerary. You will enjoy a nice dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional) and later overnight on board. Overnight on cruise in Halong bay

DAY 8(Monday, 29 July 2019): HALONG BAY FULL DAY (B, L, D)

 

Early birds are welcome to attend sunrise Tai Chi on our upper deck and it’s an excellent way to get your energy levels up for today’s adventures. You will be fascinated by the exquisiteness of Halong Bay in the early hours as you enjoy a coffee, tea. Enjoy a buffet breakfast with best local coffee brand and freshly fruit juices.
Today you will enjoy kayaking, swimming or just relax on a stunning secluded beach. Then have lunch on the boat. After that, take a nap or just relax at your leisure as we cruise to our overnight area. Witness one of the most brilliant sunsets you will ever see. This evening is yours to enjoy whatever you please. Tonight we will hold a movie night with a selection of films available. We also have a selection of board games for your entertainment. Overnight on cruise 

 

 

DAY 9: HALONG - HANOI (B, L)

 

In the morning, you will take a light breakfast, while doing further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. Enjoy a brunch on board before disembarking. Arrive Hanoi at the late afternoon. Free time for optional visit and dinner is on your own arrangement. Overnight in Hanoi

 

DAY 10: HANOI - HOALU TEMPLES COMPLEX - CYCLING TO MUA CAVE (B/L/D)

 

07.30 – 08.30: Our guide and bus pick you up from hotel and start driving to Ninh Binh, on the way, you experience the peaceful scenery along the Highway 1A, stop for a short break to stretch your legs
10.30 – 11.30: Arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel, take time to visit King Dinh and King Le’s temples.
12.30: You arrive in Tam Coc Wharf – the most exciting boating port in the North at Noon and have buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisines in a local restaurant.
14.00: Cyclingto Mua cave with stunning rice fields with buffalos, goats…along the road till approaching Mua cave. You walk up to the top of the mountain where Mua cave is located, visiting lovely stalactites and stalagmites inside, then take a spectacular view from the top to the valley.
16.00: You relaxingly cycle back to Tam Coc through the villages with daily life
16.30 – 17.00: Check in Tam Coc Bungalow which located among the village and facing to the river. Then you will have your own time relaxing till short Cooking lesson of how to make the authentic cakes with simple available ingredients at home taken place. You may spend time for relaxing, reading books or swimming.
19:00: Enjoy dinner and overnight in bungalow.

 

DAY 11: NINHBINH SIGHSEEING - HANOI (B/L)

 

07.30: Welcome a new day with Sunrise breakfast then a visit to morning local market to see how local people sell and shop with authentic goods that you never see in the tourist places
09.00Get on boat at Tam Coc Wharf then enjoy the exciting boat trip on Ngo Dong River with sampan boats through caves and visit stunning river surrounded by Limestone Karsts with rich fauna and flora.
11.30: You finish the boat trip and savoir the authentic lunch made by our chef.
12.00: Check - out bungalow then you will have your own time to relax.
15.00: Joining with our Afternoon Tea time for highlight a lovely day.
16.00: Get on bus to go back to Hanoi. We drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi around 18:30 – 19:00. Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 12: HANOI CITY TOUR (Join group tour) (B, L)

Option1: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday – (Ha Noi City Tour - Ethnology Museum) 
Considered charming colonial city, tourists would find Hanoi very typical feature of oriental city alive with its tree-lined boulevards and lakes and its blend of French, Chinese and Vietnamese architecture. Hanoi is the jewel of Asia. A cyclo trip will bring you to charming "36 streets and 36 wares" of the fascinating Old Quarter.
07:40 - 8:30 Meet your tour guide .
- Start the trip with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.             
- Visit Ho Chi Minh’s complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stil and One pillar pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.
Arrive Ethnology museum to learn about cultures of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. Have a rest and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter.
Visit Temples of Literature constructed in 1070 - dedicated to Confucius, sages and talented scholars. It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam's first university.
Leave for a legendary Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to a former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians.
16:00 Arrive back in your hotel. Tour ends.

Bat Trang was known as a famous ceramic producing village formed in 14th century. The village is located near by the Red River which is close to Hanoi city. Bat Trang became the center of ceramic making because of the rich deposition of white clay. Whether you're a browsing amateur art lover or a researching art historian, this tour will give you a comprehensive overview of 700 years of Vietnamese ceramic masterpieces.
