OVERVIEW

This 2 day Mekong Delta home stay tour offers you to deep in and experience the daily life of the vibrant Mekong Delta region in the South of Vietnam. We make our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From our boats, we truly participate in the bustling commercial activities as we can buy fruits from the floating market. Along the way, we will visit an orchard gardens, cottage industry villages, and a land market with an abundance of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables. We will be host by a local family and stay in their traditional house.

FULL ITINERARY

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Caibe (L, D)
08:00AM You will be picking up from hotel by our local guide. Leaving busy city for traveling to lush Mekong delta, driving through the fertilizing delta to Cai Be Floating Market, we then board your private river sampan for a wonderful cruising along the endless waterways of the mighty Mekong River. You will have chance to learn about life of local people when visiting to visit some local cottage industries which produce candy as well as rice cakes, listening to local Opera Don Ca Tai Tu...and visit to Tree Nursery Gardens. Your lunch will be served with the local delicacies in small restaurant by the river. Later, we will arrive at the lush orchards of the local house in which we will spend the night in a home stay with a local family. 

Day 2: Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After breakfast with the host family, we will continue our boat trip along the maze of waterways and canals through An Binh Island, stop at an old southern house with a bonsai garden and  we will also stop for visiting brick pottery kilns, Following our cruise, we will return to the Vinh Long Pier where our awaiting vehicle is, return to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch will be at My Tho City and our trip will finish in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.
